Maintenance Mechanic - Competitive Pay

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in keeping our production equipment operational and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to all safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Examine machine controls to handle plate changeovers and start machines as needed for production. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all machinery and production equipment. Repair and replace basic mechanical components, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Diagnose machine issues by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts for repair. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments for optimal performance. Inspect used parts to determine necessary changes in dimensions. Lubricate and clean machinery to uphold maintenance and housekeeping standards. Document changeover times and record maintenance activities accurately. Complete work orders aimed at maintaining safety, reducing downtime, minimizing waste, improving product quality, and boosting plant efficiency. Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and promote a safe working environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Electrical experience. Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Experience with precision measuring devices, including amp meters and hydraulic gauges. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and schematics. Strong troubleshooting abilities and practical problem-solving skills. Good mathematical skills. Ability to take personal responsibility and conduct work in a professional manner.
