We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Supervisor to join our team. The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, managing audit staff, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a leadership role that requires technical proficiency, project management skills, and a commitment to mentorship and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a variety of clients in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm policies Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance Provide technical guidance and training to audit staff and associates Maintain effective communication with clients to address audit findings, deliver progress updates, and provide value-added recommendations Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and suggest process improvements Coordinate with managers and partners to schedule and resource audit engagements efficiently Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and assist in professional development Participate in internal process improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the audit practice Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting 5+ years of Public Accounting experience CPA highly preferred Additional Skills
Knowledge of Audit software and MS Office Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Weiss & Company LLP
