Senior Automation & Controls Engineer - Industrial IoT Systems
We're seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team in developing next-generation industrial automation solutions. In this role, you'll architect and implement sophisticated control systems that bridge the gap between shop floor operations and enterprise-level systems, utilizing the latest in Industry 4.0 technologies.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and implement real-time control systems using advanced PLC/PAC platforms
Develop sophisticated HMI/SCADA solutions for process visualization and control
Architect industrial network infrastructure and database solutions
Configure and integrate machine vision and safety systems
Create high-level software applications for industrial automation
Lead technical documentation efforts and maintain system specifications
Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence within the team
Required Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years hands-on experience with industrial automation systems Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming and HMI development Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols and architectures Proficiency in multiple programming languages (IEC 61131-3, C#, Python) Experience with industrial database systems and SQL Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Why This Is a Great Opportunity:
