Salary: $20.51 per hour/Range 19 Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $32.85 per hour
Contract Length/ Days: (2025-2026/260 Days)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required: CFPM Certificate, ServSafe required High school diploma or GED equivalent. Three years of relevant food handling experience Any other combination of education, experience, and training. Valid Colorado driver's license JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective: A classified position assigned in the Nutrition Department's Production Kitchen. Primary job functions involve the management of perishable inventory and the execution of daily production goals.
Essential Functions:
Work collaboratively with staff and student workers to complete the day's assignments. Cook/Bake nutritious and safe foods from standardized recipes for satellite kitchens. Check and record temperatures on coolers and products. Wash serving trays, utensils, dishes, pans, etc., used in food preparation or service. Mop and clean kitchen work area, and clean other equipment and facilities as required. Maintain a sanitary, safe, and orderly work area. Record and track the use of food, supplies, and labor used to produce the finished product. Work in a school cafeteria as needed as a server and/or cashier, collect and account for money, make change for customers, serves customers, maintain orderly food service line, deal with or report discipline issues. Adjust quantities of ingredients to accurately provide proper amounts of food. Portion food correctly to meet federal, state, and departmental guidelines. Package products in correct quantities. Operate various types of equipment used in food preparation or cleaning. Stock storage areas with food and non-food supplies following the First In, First Out (FIFO) procedure. Manage inventory of food and non-food supplies. Assist with new employee training as needed. Accurately record food quantities on the production worksheets. Ensure all safety and sanitation procedures are followed by self and staff. Attend training programs and workshops Additional Qualifications/Competencies:
Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards. Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position. Prefers leadership situations relating to meeting the social, emotional, psychological and academic needs of students. Prefers a work environment where flexibility, ability to deal with conflict, a high tolerance for stress, an ability to quickly internalize information and make informed decisions, and long hours are a part of the assignment. Operation knowledge of institutional kitchen equipment within two months after hire.
