OLT Project Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive OLT Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the field deployment of telecommunication cabinets, backhaul circuits and associated passive infrastructure in FTTH projects. This role involves end-to-end site execution support, vendor coordination, and ensuring that cabinets are installed and integrated as per design specifications, quality standards, and within project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Field Deployment Supervision Vendor & Contractor Management Documentation & Quality Assurance Testing & Handover Reporting & Escalation Qualifications and Experience: 35 years of experience in FTTH or broadband network rollout, with a strong focus on passive infrastructure. In-depth understanding of FTTH architecture, including FDH (Fiber Distribution Hub), FAT (Fiber Access Terminal), and feeder/distribution network. Hands-on experience with telecom cabinet deployment, power provisioning, fiber routing, and civil works. Knowledge of right-of-way (ROW) and local municipality requirements is a plus. Familiarity with GIS-based network planning tools and FTTH BOM (Bill of Materials). Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel dashboards). Key Competencies: Strong project execution and site management skills. Effective communication and negotiation with contractors and cross-functional teams.
