Research, design, and develop Telecommunication networks and telco cloud solutions based on 3GPP and ETSI standards. Deep understanding & practical knowledge of one or more Telecommunication network domains like RAN, Core, Wireless Access Transmission, Fixed Access Transmission, etc. Design, develop, and maintain fixed access network infrastructure using technologies including but not limited to i.e. GPON, XGS-PON, DOCSIS, DSL, FTTH, and FTTC, ensuring reliable, high-speed data transmission across various customer premises. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network planning, design, and operations, to optimize and expand fixed access network capacity and performance. Utilize network management tools including but not limited to i.e. Nokia ISAM and Cisco Prime to monitor, configure, and troubleshoot access network equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high service availability. Perform network audits, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance for fixed access networks using tools such as OTDR and power meters, ensuring seamless data transmission. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines for both radio and fixed access technologies, such as ITU-T, IEEE 802.3, and other relevant protocols. Participate in the deployment and integration of new fixed access technologies and network equipment, collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless rollouts of services. Design and implement robust security measures to safeguard both radio and fixed access networks from potential cyber threats, employing firewalls, IDS, and encryption technologies. Configures and integrate OLT/MSAN/MXU equipment including ONTs and routers with existing network. Work with Customer Service and NOC by addressing OLT/CPE network related issues to resolve complex issues and provide technical guidance. Participate in the deployment and integration of new fixed access technologies and network equipment, collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless rollouts of services such as Triple Play (Voice, Internet & Video), IPTV, P2P Leased Lines, PSTN, ISDN-BRI, SIP, PABX-lines, and Data lines (VPN, LL, ISDN PRI) over GPON and copper-based networks. Perform network audits, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance using tools such as OTDR, power meters, and splicing machines to identify and resolve potential network issues in fiber and copper-based infrastructures.. Design and implement robust security measures to safeguard the fixed access network from potential cyber threats, employing firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption technologies. Provide technical support and training to field technicians during network installations, configurations, and maintenance, ensuring all activities adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Analyzes xPON network performance data to identify FTTx user traffic trends, potential issues related to service experience, and prepare optimization plans for OLT uplink expansions accordingly. Develops and implements QoS strategies on user packages to enhance network efficiency and reliability. Qualifications &Experience
