Job Summary
The Loan Assistant II will be responsible for assisting Loan Officers in gathering and inputting applicant information. This position updates loan data, assembles documentation, and ensures all files contain documents with proper signatures and dates.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Contacts customers to set appointments Answers routine customer questions about loan process Inputs loan application information into loan systems Ensures deadlines are met and coordinates with applicable departments as needed Submits loan packages to underwriting and/or credit approval areas Helps resolve issues or errors that may occur during processing Ensures closed loan files are complete with required documents and signatures Provides administrative and operational support to multiple lending functions in accordance with established systems and procedures Assists Loan Officers as needed with a variety of loans, including mortgage, retail, commercial, and home equity lines of credit Education, Experience and Qualifications
