Skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Competitive Compensation

Your Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to all safety policies and work instructions, using PPE and safety equipment. Examine machine controls for plate changeovers and support machine startups for production needs. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. Repair mechanical components and replace parts on machines including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Analyze mechanical operations to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments to maintain optimal performance. Inspect used parts for dimensional changes and lubrication needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following preventive maintenance standards. Track and document changeover times accurately. Complete work orders with an emphasis on safety, reducing downtime, minimizing scrap, improving production quality, and enhancing efficiency. Engage in continuous observation to ensure a safe work environment, following Lockout/Tagout procedures and 5S standards. Perform additional related duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Electrical experience is a must. Ability to interpret documents such as manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Experience using precision measuring devices like amp meters and electric meters. Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various situations. Good mathematical skills for basic calculations including decimals and fractions.
