Litigation Secretary

to join its team. The firm specializes in Insurance Defense and Isurance Coverage Law. Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a litigation legal secretary and be comfortable supporting attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation, including court filings (state and federal), trial preparation, and case management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and coordination with clients and experts Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings, and track deadlines Transcribe dictation and draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files using document management software (e.g., Worldox) Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a litigation secretary supporting civil litigation attorneys Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong working knowledge of document management systems such as Worldox Excellent understanding of court rules and procedures, including e-filing in state and federal courts Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Work Environment and Benefits:
