The Dixboro Project is a sprawling visionary concept in the historic village of Dixboro, Michigan. Our spaces invite you to experience the intersection of world-class dining, transformational hospitality, and abundant nature. The Boro is the our side-door takeout arm of The Dixboro Project - An all day café featuring woodfired pizzas, takeaway meals, a full range of expertly baked goods, Roos Roast coffee, adult beverages, and much much more.

The Barista Carry Out member is a key part of The Boro, ensuring guests have a seamless carry-out experience. They excel in coffee, tea, pastry, and menu knowledge, providing exceptional hospitality while maintaining The Boro's cleanliness and organization. They are able to create expertly crafted coffee and tea while providing excellent service to our guests.
What You'll Do:
Welcome guests warmly in-person and over the phone, offering
expert guidance
on menu offerings and promotions. Actively sell
future experiences, offer pairings, and suggest alternatives to enhance guest satisfaction. Educate guests on coffee, tea, and beverage options - highlighting quality, value, and story of each product. Process phone and online orders accurately and
coordinate pickup or delivery . Prioritize tasks, problem solve, and ensure orders are complete and correct. Maintain a clean and organized workspace,
setting up the next team member for success . Reliable, professional, and organized,
embodying hospitality
at all times. Maximizes sales opportunities and seek out ways to
enhance guest experiences . Mindful of efficiency and productivity , while multitasking and maintaining a friendly demeanor as the face of the restaurant. Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Able to
brew excellent coffee, tea , and serve quality beverages with efficiency. Preferred
experience in providing excellent customer service
in a fast-paced environment. Must be a
great team player
to serve the team mission and each guest fully. Must have a
good attitude
towards change and ambiguity. High level of
personal hygiene and personal presentation. Able to
stay calm
in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail
in everything we do. Unwilling to compromise on our standards or accept short cuts. Consistent
in performance and reliability. Able to
work in sync with the flow
of the restaurant. Must have weekend availability. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
