Sr Staff SAP Data Engineer

As an Sr Staff SAP Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in our SAP S/4HANA transformation by ensuring the efficient migration of master and transactional data. This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and more. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of SAP Business Data Cloud/SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA solutions to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives. Deliver and support analytical solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA, HANA Cloud, and Datasphere. Apply best-practice architecture and design principles to build scalable analytical data models. Translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions. Collaborate within agile teams, contributing development and analytical expertise. Identify and resolve reporting content issues to enhance business value. Drive improvements in data integrity, quality, and governance. Build secure, compliant cloud analytics solutions aligned with data privacy standards. Support management reporting and decision-making through robust data solutions. Partner with Corporate Technology teams (BTP, Security, System Engineering) to implement best practices. Maintain and update support and operations documentation. Provide production support during critical periods (month-end, quarter-end, year-end). Ensure consistency of master data across MDG and related systems. Improve master data interfaces across SAP ECC, S/4, BW, BPC, and downstream systems. Collaborate with product teams to resolve issues and foster strong working relationships. Basic Requirements: 10+ years of experience in data and BI development (SAP BW, SAP BW/4) 5+ years of BI modeling experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere, including at least 3 full implementation cycles. Deep knowledge of SAP BW, ECC, S/4HANA, and SAC data structures. Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Technology Platform. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Expertise in S/4HANA Analytics, CDS Views, SAP HANA Cloud, HANA 2.0, and BW/4HANA. Proficiency in Graphical/SQL View modeling and complex dataflow design. Python programming and familiarity with REST APIs. Experience with mixed modeling (BW/4HANA and native HANA). Knowledge of HANA 2.0 development (XSA, Node.js, ABAP) is a plus. Integration experience with SAP and non-SAP data sources (federated and replication). Familiarity with data catalog tools like Collibra. Knowledge of Databricks Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Advanced skills in SAP Analytics Cloud, including predictive analytics and forecasting. Desired Characteristics: Experience analyzing data flows across SAP BW, BPC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems. Strong understanding of financial and HCM analytics. Excellent analytical and abstract thinking skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Passion for continuous learning and performance optimization. Additional Requirements: Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
