Basic Function: As a Production Line Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, conducting quality control, and applying your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Examine and start up production machines as per the schedule. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all machinery and equipment. Repair mechanical components and replace parts like bearings, filters, and valves as needed. Diagnose issues by observing and listening to equipment in operation. Dismantle machines to access and replace defective parts. Inspect and measure used parts to assess changes in dimensions. Maintain cleanliness of machinery to uphold safety and preventive maintenance standards. Document and analyze downtime, Operating Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Produce work orders to enhance safety, reduce downtime, and improve production quality and efficiency. Train and guide fellow employees, including operators and temporary staff. Conduct Root Cause Analyses for excessive equipment downtime. Perform any related duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Solid understanding of equipment systems and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Demonstrated professionalism and personal responsibility in completing assigned duties.
