Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities: Strictly follow all safety policies and work instructions, utilizing PPE and safety equipment as necessary. Set up machines for production needs by examining controls and performing necessary plate changeovers. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment to ensure reliability. Repair and replace mechanical components including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues by observing and listening to operating devices. Dismantle machines to access and replace defective parts as needed. Adjust functional parts and instrument controls to maintain optimal operation. Inspect used parts to assess dimensional changes and determine replacement needs. Lubricate and clean machinery to uphold high maintenance standards and promote a safe working environment. Document and track changeover times effectively, helping to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Utilize the Lockout/Tagout program and adhere to housekeeping and 5S standards to foster a safe workplace. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent combination of training and experience. Proficient in electrical systems and equipment. Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and procedure manuals. Experience with precision measuring tools such as amp meters and hydraulic gauges. Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach to a variety of situations. Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and perform calculations. Demonstrated professionalism and personal responsibility in all assigned tasks.
