We're seeking a future team member for the role of

Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer of our global Markets team . This role is located in our New York, NY headquarters in Tribeca.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Provide high-level executive administrative support to the COO, managing a broad range of tasks with autonomy and discretion.

Serve as a

trusted liaison between executives , internal teams, and external partners, facilitating clear and timely communication.

Represent the COO and Markets team with a high level of professionalism, courtesy and discretion.

Maintain an

extremely detailed calendar , thinking proactively about scheduling needs and prioritizing meeting requests and related logistics.

Act as a

gatekeeper to protect executives' time and focus , managing inbound communications and screening calls and visitors.

Work closely and effectively with the COO to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities both professionally and personally.

Provide ad-hoc support to key direct reports of the COO, and work in partnership with the entire Markets executive administrative team.

Provide back-up administrative support for the Global Head of Markets.

Collaborate effectively across global teams, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills.

Arrange complex domestic and international travel itineraries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Manage expense reporting, billing, and office supply procurement with accuracy and attention to detail.

Coordinate team events, conferences, town halls, and virtual meetings (including WebEx , MS Teams and other platforms), ensuring smooth execution and engagement.

Collaborate effectively across global teams, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Proven experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, global environment.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a highly professional and approachable demeanor.

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential issues and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools, virtual meeting platforms, and expense systems.

A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative.

Flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities and business needs.

Background within the financial services sector preferred.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $102,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
