Looking for multiple engineers or construction-related candidates who have a strong HVAC background and can work directly with the Sales and Estimating teams on the engineering side.
Responsibilities include:
Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing, technical writing of proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding.
Possess 2+ years of HVAC design experience.
Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors for clarifications for sales engineers, application engineers, and project administrators.
Have experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or willingness to learn.
Be familiar with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and/or temperature control.
Prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns, evaluating equipment savings and costs.
Assemble bid files, including all development information, in the customer relationship management (CRM) system to prepare estimates.
Be responsible for the cost estimation of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
