Project Engineer

OEM Application Engineer - Sales (Hybrid) We are seeking multiple candidates with construction or HVAC backgrounds to join as Application Engineers or Project Engineers. These roles involve working directly with the Sales and Estimating teams to support technical aspects of HVAC projects. Please note, this position is highly technical and requires excellent communication skills, as you will interact directly with customers. This role does NOT include design work. Key Responsibilities: Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents. Handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing, write technical proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding. Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors for clarifications needed by sales engineers, application engineers, and project administrators. Gain or have experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating. Familiarity with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and temperature control systems. Prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns, evaluating equipment savings and costs. Assemble bid files with all relevant information in the CRM system to prepare accurate estimates. Responsible for cost estimation of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems for bid opportunities. This position is oriented towards a sales career path.
