Armed Security Drivers
to join our San Jose team. This role involves providing armed security and secure transportation for high-profile clients, ensuring their safety and protection at all times. As an
Armed Security Driver , you must possess exceptional situational awareness, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure environments effectively. You will be expected to adhere to stringent safety protocols and react quickly to any security threats while ensuring the clients safe transportation. Shift Information:
Schedules for
Armed Security Drivers
will depend on client needs and may include: Day Shifts:
Ranging from 8 to 12 hours, typically during regular business hours. Evening & Night Shifts:
Extended coverage may be required into late hours. Overnight Shifts:
Some assignments may necessitate overnight security driving. On-Call/Reserve:
You may be required to be available for urgent or last-minute assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
As an
Armed Security Driver , you will be expected to: Safely and securely transport high-profile clients to and from designated locations. Maintain a professional and visible armed security presence during client transport. Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness. Monitor surroundings for potential security threats during transit and respond accordingly. React quickly and effectively to any security incidents, ensuring the safety of the client. Maintain clear communication with clients, security team members, and operations support. Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times. Provide detailed post-transport security reports as required. Adhere to all safety protocols and legal regulations related to firearms and defensive driving.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the
Armed Security Driver
role, candidates must possess: 5+ years of military, law enforcement, or armed security experience. Valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit. Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218). Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Strong physical fitness to perform defensive driving and security duties. Excellent situational awareness and the ability to make rapid decisions in high-pressure environments. Advanced defensive driving skills, including the ability to navigate high-risk situations. Professionalism and discretion in handling high-profile clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills:
Applicants should demonstrate: Expertise in defensive driving techniques and vehicle security. Proficiency in firearm handling and emergency response protocols.
