Senior Lead Digital Product Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager in Merchant Services as part of Card & Merchant Services. The Senior Lead Product Manager will have in-depth payments background with decision-making responsibility for product lines. The ideal candidate has experience establishing strategies to work with ISVs in the payments industry and driving those strategies forward to implementation by launching products with significant commercial results in the target market. Relevant payments experience should ideally be at an acquirer, merchant service provider, gateway, or point-of-sale company. In this role, you will: Own strategic planning for integration paths into Wells Fargo's host for third-party developers. Develop strategies for implementation of systems and processes needed to create value for developer partners. Engage business partners to create a cohesive top-down model for host communication and API interactions with Wells Fargo's merchant services. Engage with Sales Segment Leaders, Clients, and other stakeholders to understand needs and define acceptance and value-added business services strategy Understand the competitive landscape, emerging capabilities, existing pain points, etc. to inform the strategy Develop business plans, models, & justifications in support of product development & commercialization investment Develop and maintain vertical-market oriented, strategic product roadmaps Engage with 3rd party service providers (i.e., ISV's) to bring vertical market or needed acceptance product capabilities into the organization for commercialization Work closely with Marketing to develop go-to-market strategy and ongoing client communications Work closely with Product development to introduce solutions to the product development roadmap and manage priorities Provide product expertise on client call and partner calls as needed to represent our capabilities and or understand client needs Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide Serve as an adept advisor to leadership Required Qualifications: 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years of direct experience in developing payment acceptance solutions such as POS terminals, payment gateways, tokenization solutions, virtual terminals, B2B payments, integration tools, middleware or other CP/CNP payment related solutions or value-added services. Desired Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of restaurant and retail payment products and markets Experience, working with players in the cloud POS and back-office technology space Experience working with players who offer value added services to merchants, such as workforce management, loyalty or other non-payment related services that merchants rely on to run their business. Experience in creating and executing strategies in Vertical Markets Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Proficiency in building presentations and communications, with ability to simplify the complex Demonstrated initiative or project delivery experience with an emphasis on meeting deadlines Demonstrated track record of working effectively in a team environment, across all organizational levels, and building superior partnerships with a broad set of partners Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions Strong project management and research skills Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas Ability to articulate a complex problem, design, or build strategy Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Locations: 171 17th St. NW - Atlanta, GA 150 E 42nd, New York, NY 250 E.
