The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks for our School Office. This individual is responsible for responding to and resolving administrative inquiries.

Answer phones and direct calls accordingly Answer questions that parents might have or need assistance with Assist in helping parents set up meeting with deans Report to assigned zone during a fire or emergency drill Check in students that arrive late to school and assign tardy pass Sign out students in Concierge Pad if being dismissed early Mark all students that arrived tardy to school in PowerSchool Check attendance in PowerSchool Check Student Absence Report File any doctors/immigration notes in student files and make notes in PowerSchool Email parents of approval or denial for EA requests and mark in PowerSchool Filing documents accordingly Keep track of student parking Medication-Administration Maintain inventory of general office supplies Print ID's for students that need a replacement Disperse mail to HS staff inbox Assist the deans and school nurse in coordinating random drug tests for students Inform custodians of supplies needing to be refilled or clean-ups as they occur Assist students with PowerSchool access Assist the deans and principal with any other duties that they might need help with during the school year or summer File current school year report cards and MAPS scores Move student files one grade over Create files for new students Review student lockers Print cardstock name plates Collect graduation gowns and cords from seniors Distribute diplomas to graduated seniors Other Administrative duties as needed Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required 3-5 years of Admin experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing Ability to work independently Exemplary Christian role model who lets his or her "light shine" Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk around the facility Ability to sit for extended periods of time Must be able to see and hear and speak frequently Ability to use repetitive movement of fingers and hands for keyboarding Ability to occasionally handle average weight objects up to 10 pounds
