Lead Homemaker (Glenaire)

The Lead Homemaker provides leadership to the household in nutrition, food service, housekeeping and laundry, assuring each household's abilities to promote the nutritional well-being of all residents in household surroundings that are clean and neat. In partnership with the CDM and Environmental Services Director, the Lead Homemaker works to grow the household staff in nutrition, food preparation and service, and housekeeping. The Lead Homemaker assists CDM with effective completion of care plans and RAI documentation with residents, coworkers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment in the home. This may involve direct problem solving, conflict resolution and ensuring that the needs and desires of residents are met. Required: Understanding of food service Understanding of cleaning techniques and standards Experience training new employees Desire to serve senior adults Positive outlook Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented Working independently and on a team Flexible and able to handle a fast pace Great communication and documentation skills Why Us?
