In the role of Senior Conveyance Project Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of conveyance and pipeline projects, asset management, or pump station projects.
Leading engineering/process design, project coordination, and determining and writing engineering specifications.
Planning work, establishing appropriate design methods, report preparation, and coordination.
Equipment sizing and selection, working directly with owners and clients.
Establishing client relations and leading marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
Conducting schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites with technical professionals and disciplines.
Coordinating staffing and workload throughout project development to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Managing multiple projects concurrently.
Participating in business development activities including client interaction, proposal development, and professional society involvement.
Collaborating with Business/Accounting Managers, Project Coordinators, Area Manager, and Managing Principal for project reviews.
Implementing QA/QC procedures and training personnel as per strategic plans.
Mentoring less experienced Project Managers for professional growth.
Active involvement in recruitment and hiring.
Participating in Conveyance Related Practice Groups.
Performing other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 20 years' experience in planning, designing, project engineering, project management, and construction of pump station and pipeline projects.
Strong business development and strategic planning skills.
Experience with large-scale pump station and pipeline projects, condition assessment, design, and rehabilitation.
Hydraulic modeling software experience.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
10 years of related experience.
At least 5 years of project management experience.
Professional engineering license recognized in the position's location (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project (Access experience a plus).
Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
