CNAs will work with both the medical telemetry and IMC patients on Bean 5. They will float to other inpatient units. CNAs are also utilized in the companion role and will be required to sit with patients as a 1:1 companion as needed. Required Certifications:
BLS. Education:
Client mandatory onboarding education. Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 43. Patient Ratios: 1:7-8. Equipment: Specific to our IMC patients: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP. Both IMC and Med Tele equipment: CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care/maintenance, multiple various bed surfaces and patient mobility equipment. EMR:
Epic. Must Have Skills/Experience:
Inpatient experience on previous med/surge level of care or higher. Preferred Skillset/Experience:
Type of Patients on Unit:
Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition. Personality Fit:
