new, high-impact engineering team , and we are seeking a
very senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
to take on a
leadership position . This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a team responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical banking systems.
The ideal candidate is a
proven technical leader
who thrives in complex environments and has a track record of building high-performing teams. You will set the vision for operational excellence, drive modern SRE practices, and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on with critical reliability initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy Lead and mentor a team of SREs, fostering a culture of reliability, accountability, and innovation. Define reliability goals, SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, and enforce best practices. Partner with development, infrastructure, and business leaders to align SRE practices with organizational strategy.
Reliability Engineering Build and maintain resilient, scalable systems with a focus on automation and observability. Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems. Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure high availability.
Delivery & Execution Champion cloud-native architectures and DevOps/SRE best practices. Optimize performance, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies. Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
10+ years
of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles. 5+ years
of proven leadership experience building and leading SRE or DevOps teams. Strong expertise in
system reliability, monitoring, observability, and automation . Hands-on experience with
Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
(Azure, AWS, or GCP). Proficiency in
scripting/programming
(Python, Go, or similar). Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries. Familiarity with site reliability frameworks such as Google SRE principles. Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in mission-critical environments. Why Join
