Job Title: Pump Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, specifically pumps, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial pumps and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.
Utilize skills in electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, and engine repair.
Manage fleet maintenance, including brake and transmission repairs.
Use hand tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Participate in rotational on-call duties for urgent equipment servicing.
Essential Skills
Experience with pumps, generators, diesel engines, and air compressors.
Proficiency in diesel maintenance and repair.
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and engine repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have personal tools for the job.
Willingness to start in the shop with potential to transition to a Road Tech role after 6 months.
Comfortable with rotational on-call responsibilities.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. After transitioning to a permanent role, there will be rotational on-call duties. The position initially requires working in the shop environment with a potential shift to fieldwork.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
