Role Overview
We are seeking a
Marketing Specialist & Accelerator Program Manager
to lead Lean Rocket Labs marketing efforts and manage one of our flagship programsthe
Sales & Marketing Accelerator . This role emphasizes
content creation, social media management, program management, and storytelling
across multiple digital platforms. This is a
contracted role
with a set monthly compensation of
$5,000
and performance expectations, with the ability to take on additional billable work for Lean Rocket Lab clients.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Develop, plan, and execute content strategies for Lean Rocket Lab and accelerator programs. Create engaging content across all major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok). Produce and edit dynamic video content: reels, shorts, highlight clips, interviews, and behind-the-scenes stories. Write compelling copy for posts, newsletters, and digital campaigns. Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to continually optimize performance. Sales & Marketing Accelerator Program Management Manage the full application process, from marketing the program to reviewing applicants and onboarding selected teams. Build out and organize course content within Lean Rocket Labs LMS. Coordinate with and schedule speakers, mentors, and industry experts for monthly classes. Support program participants with communications, resources, and logistics. Ensure smooth execution of the accelerator program from kickoff to completion. Event Coverage & Travel Occasionally travel to
Lean Rocket Lab events and partner events across Michigan
to capture photo, video, and social media content. Create live and post-event content to amplify visibility and showcase the impact of events, programs, and partnerships. Collaborate with the LRL team on event marketing campaigns before, during, and after events. Collaboration & Client Work Work closely with Lean Rocket Lab leadership to align marketing and program initiatives with organizational goals. Provide strategic and creative marketing support to accelerator startups and partner clients (billable opportunity). Stay current with trends, platforms, and best practices to ensure Lean Rocket Lab is leading-edge in digital marketing and program delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience
in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. Strong portfolio of
video and visual content
(reels, shorts, posts). Familiarity with editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent). Excellent writing, storytelling, and copywriting skills. Demonstrated experience managing programs, events, or accelerators preferred. Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, speakers, and teams while keeping programs on track. Creative, innovative, and driven to stay on the cutting edge of digital media and program design. Willingness and ability to
travel occasionally in Michigan
for events.
Compensation & Structure
$5,000/month retainer
with defined deliverables. Additional billable hourly opportunities
for client projects through Lean Rocket Lab. Contract Terms:
