Dynamic Test Engineer

Are you an early career professional looking to make a impact in the aerospace industry? We're seeking a talented and ambitious Dynamic Test Engineer to join our team in the Acoustic Vibration Laboratory (AVL). As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in supporting testing of spacecraft systems for Lockheed Martin Space programs. About the Role

In this dynamic and hands-on position, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from planning and preparing tests to leading dynamic test activities as a Certified Test Conductor (CTC). Your responsibilities will include: Develop and execute test procedures Design and analyze custom test solutions, including creating and modifying test fixtures Setting up and conducting vibration, shock, and acoustic tests Review and process test data to ensure accurate and reliable results Operating and maintaining high-value test equipment Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field/equivalent experience Strong technical writing skills, with ability to build relationships and work collaboratively Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills in mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition, and engineering principles Ability to obtain Secret clearance Desired Skills

Experience with dynamic testing principles and theory Familiarity with feedback control systems and data interpretation Proficiency in CAD modeling and design software (CREO preferred) Hands-on lab testing experience, including technical writing and procedure development Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Experience with electrical equipment, instrumentation, and data recording Knowledge of Lockheed Martin test engineering processes and command media Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification a plus Active clearance Security Clearance Statement

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. This position is incentive plan eligible.
