Description Join our team as a Mechanical HVAC Technician, where your skills and expertise will be vital in creating efficient and reliable mechanical piping systems for commercial and industrial facilities. We are looking for an individual who is not only detail-oriented but also passionate about providing high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Install, fabricate, maintain, and repair diverse piping systems that transport water, steam, air, gas, chemicals, and other fluids. Utilize various piping materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and plastics. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing systems to detect and resolve leaks, blockages, corrosion, or equipment failures. Replace or repair damaged piping, valves, pumps, and fixtures ensuring systems function optimally. Perform routine maintenance to enhance safety, efficiency, and longevity of all mechanical systems. Assemble piping utilizing skills in welding, brazing, soldering, and threading, ensuring precision and quality. Install and commission comprehensive mechanical service piping systems including HVAC, chilled water, and fire protection systems. Execute pressure tests to ensure system integrity and compliance with design specifications. Read and interpret piping blueprints and diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting tasks. Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to align project timelines and adhere to specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance. High School diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting or HVAC systems. Completion of a formal training program in mechanical technology or a related field. Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues with diagnostic tools. Ability to perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of complex mechanical systems. Skillful in using standard hand and power tools common in the industry. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while solving mechanical challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or vocational certification in a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in HVAC systems and mechanical installations. ASE certification or equivalent industry credentials. Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience with energy-efficient mechanical systems. Knowledge of project management principles relevant to timelines and parts procurement. Understanding of quality control standards and compliance requirements. A strong safety record and awareness of occupational safety standards. Location: All qualified applicants encouraged to apply. Salary Range:

$46,800.00 - $84,600.00 The salary range provided is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors such as responsibilities, experience, and internal equity will also be considered.
