Key Responsibilities: Install, fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems that handle various fluids. Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping. Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues. Replace or repair piping, valves, pumps, and fixtures for optimal system performance. Perform routine maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency of mechanical systems. Assemble piping using welding, brazing, soldering, threading, and mechanical fittings. Install and commission HVAC and other service piping systems. Conduct pressure tests to ensure system integrity and compliance. Read and interpret piping blueprints and diagrams to guide installations. Coordinate with other trades to ensure project timelines are met. Basic Qualifications: TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required. High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of hands-on experience in related fields. Formal training in mechanical technology or a related discipline. Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to use standard hand and power tools effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or vocational certification in a related technical field. 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing vehicles, including trucks and forklifts. ASE certification or equivalent credentials. Advanced troubleshooting and analysis skills. Familiarity with project management principles related to repair timelines.
