POSITION SUMMARY:

The high school Administrative Assistant will support the Principal and Assistant Principal in managing the details of communication and organization involving students, parents, and faculty.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate and problem solve • Communicate effectively (written and spoken word) • Organize with creativity and efficiency • Handle information with discernment • Screen and direct incoming mail, email, and calls • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage receipts for expense reporting • Review all reimbursement requests and prepare requisitions • Manage appointments, projects, events, activities, budgeting, drills, supplies, and records • Report maintenance and operational requests to the proper departments and follow up for resolution • Oversee unlock/lockup of all High School buildings each school day • Assist with other duties as requested

KEY RESULTS AREA #1 Produce highly effective internal and external communication • Assist with all faculty and parent communication, such as emails and important reminders • Assist other HS departmental leaders with communication, facility, IT, and operational requests • Problem-solve successfully and graciously as a liaison between BJA and other departments • Communicate the religious beliefs of BJA to students and student affiliates • Answers questions concerning faith, doctrine, and creed of BJA to constituents, students, or those inquiring about BJA

KEY RESULTS AREA #2 Strengthen the overall detailed organization of student data, financial records, and calendar events • Effective use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Canva • Manage and evaluate monthly budget and spending • Assist with planning and organization of activities and events

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and accuracy • Good interpersonal skills • Good communication skills • Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude • Working knowledge of technology, both general hardware and software products
