Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) positions at Oregon State University Cascades (OSU-Cascades). This position will be located in Bend, Oregon. This position will support OSU-Cascades' Transportation Program Manager with administrative and outreach activities. This could include outreach to students and support with management of parking, fleet vehicles, and transportation options. Anticipated wage $17.00 per hour. Position Duties Provide customer support for parking services. Monitor and report parking trends on and around campus Support OSU-Cascades' Transportation Options Incentive Program - offering gift cards and other swag to those who choose to bike, walk, carpool, or ride the bus to campus. Monitor parking lots for compliance with parking policies, issuing parking citations as necessary. Promote Transportation Options through events, developing and distributing educational materials, and encouraging students to consider carpooling, biking, and other active transportation options. Represent OSU-Cascades at special events and "tabling" at events. Minimum Qualifications

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term* Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the
Office of International Services
(OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Additional Required Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Demonstrate intermediate organizational and communication skills.
Ability to be reliable and punctual.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
