Overview Ship Control develops in-house electronic systems and integrates vendor/government supplied equipment to support the VA/CLB Ship Control System (SCS), VA/CLB Monitoring Systems, and the VA/CLB Portable Ship Control Systems (PSCS). The selected candidate will be part of a high-performing, detail-oriented,multidisciplinary team designing, building, and maintaining the ship control systems for the safe operation of US submarines. We seek highly motivated candidates across multiple engineering disciplines including systems engineering, electronics hardware engineering and software engineering. Candidates will either support simulation system development or software test to support verification and validation of complex integrated electronics systems. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Software development and peer reviews Test plan development, unit test, code coverage testing Software/ hardware integration and formal verification Support ongoing system and component development, with a strong focus on establishing, understanding, and meeting requirements Systems analysis and modeling Test plan development, test execution, and analysis Qualifications

Required: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering 0-5 years of postgraduate engineering experience Preferred: Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronics systems Computer software development (Ada, C, C++, Java, etc.) Real-time embedded system development Distributed control systems Control systems analysis and modeling MATLab & Simulink Engineering and requirements management tools (DOORS, etc.) Skills
