American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN with home health and infusion experience for a day shift home health assignment requiring valid FL or compact license and OASIS proficiency.Job Details•Home health setting serving patients in Bradenton, Manatee, and South Hillsborough Counties,•Primary focus on skilled nursing services for cardiopulmonary, wound care, post-op, and high-risk diagnoses including HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke,•Home health skilled visits averaging 6-8 per day,•Day shift schedules: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Thurs-Mon, or Fri-Tues, with alternating weekends,•Self-scheduling based on the needs of the HomeCare office,•May float within home health teams or to affiliate facilities as needed,•Uses BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation system; Cerner charting experience preferred,•Provided with laptop, MiFi internet access, and portable printer,Job Requirements•Current LPN license in Florida or compact state required at time of consideration,•Minimum 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience required,•OASIS training and experience required,•Demonstrated infusion, IV, and wound care skills required,•Valid driver's license and personal car required for home visits,•BCLS certification required,•COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required,•Proof of flu vaccination or declination, with mask required at all times if declined,•Must live at least 100 miles from the facility per radius rule,•Must pass EKG exam within three attempts,•Cerner charting experience preferred,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Duties include cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care (including ABI compression, wound vac, Pleurx/Asept drain care), foley catheter care, staple/suture removal, use of glucometer and pro-time machine, SQ/IM injections, lab draws, IV skills, PICC or midline care and dressing changes, and SQ port access,•Patient population includes Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance clients,•Solid color scrubs required for dress code,•Smoke-free facility,•RTO requests are not accepted in contract and must be coordinated directly with the unit manager,•Permanent BayCare employees must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,•Compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date,•Pre-start modules and pass/fail EKG exam required,],•hash,:•12206091356273083211,
