Job Summary: The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures as prescribed by a physician. This role focuses on establishing individualized goals, providing treatments, and consistently reassessing patient progress while documenting all findings accurately. Essential Functions: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and create individualized treatment plans. Administer therapy treatments safely and document all interventions appropriately. Regularly reassess and modify treatment plans to align with patient needs and progress. Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and post-treatment care options. Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment while safely operating therapy equipment. Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care quality. Tailor care to meet the diverse needs of all patient demographics. Ensure compliance with facility policies related to safety, infection control, and risk management. Adapt to changes in a professional manner, following proper channels to resolve patient care issues. Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all relevant policies and standards. Qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required. 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and therapeutic techniques. Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans. Proficient in utilizing therapy equipment and technology for documentation and billing processes. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards. Licenses and Certifications: Valid Physical Therapist license in your state of employment. Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
