Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including detailed physical examinations and medical history evaluations Assist in the diagnosis of surgical conditions through expert analysis of imaging and lab results Collaborate intricately with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans for each patient Provide essential intraoperative support, ensuring the operating room is prepared, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical instruments are managed efficiently during procedures Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a surgical focus Certifications
Valid and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certification required State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is necessary Essential Skills
