Job Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues by effectively interpreting imaging studies and lab results Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis Certifications
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification required BLS
and
ACLS
certifications essential State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Key Skills
