Starting Pay Range $3,211.53 - $3,721.15 - Bi-Weekly Depending on experience

Job Description:

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*

• Assess the health and developmental status of pupils as part of their special education evaluation

• Interpret the health and developmental assessments to parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals directly concerned with the pupil

• Provide a written report of health and medical findings

• Provide pupils, parents and others with information on community resources

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to organize and present ideas effectively in oral and written form.

• Ability to interact respectfully with youths and others

• Flexibility in scheduling

• Ability to work independently and effectively with multiple individuals and at several sites

• Willingness to travel to various school locations

• Ability to make skillful decisions.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet IEP report timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

• A valid Registered Nurse License in California.

• Current Certification in CPR.

• Must possess a credential with a School Nurse authorization OR be eligible for a School Nurse service credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

• A valid Audiometry certification
