The TD team for ISEA is focused on Customer Product development & Engineering, Innovation for the region, rollout of new technologies for the region, testing, Failure Investigation, scale-up from POC to series production, Portfolio Management etc.

This division brings out conceptual/detailed designs to support BOH/ETO activities based on customer specifications. Technology trends like digitization of workflows, e- Aviation, Sensorization, Product localization, Design automation, Agile, DFX and Model based designs (MBDs) have increased operational efficiency and application productivity. This allows our customers to benefit from efficient digital data exchange, traceability, flexibility in design changes, reduced carbon footprint, and higher performance products. Testing : Group Testing Services is a trusted partner in design, process, and supplier validation. The testing team ensures a focus on customer requirements, quality, and operational efficiency, supporting SKFs processes faster by applying global test standards adapted to local customer-specific requirements. Product Owner and Front-End Developer Reports To:
Global Manager - Digital Product Design Role Purpose: Join an internal product team of developers, designers, and a design systems manager in creating and maintaining a company-wide design system, including a native web component library adopted by a global suite of digital products to create industry-leading front-end experiences. You will support us by being a developer in the team as well as having product ownership responsibilities. This involves setting and managing the backlog with the support of the design systems manager and your team, as well as coding contributions. Additionally, you will provide advice to other developers outside the team, sharing best practices and providing feedback on their code. Key responsibilities and daily tasks: Work with the design system manager to understand and influence the roadmap, vision, and product strategy, impacting the teams backlog priorities Communicate the product vision, team progress, and gather feedback to ensure alignment with product goals Prioritize and maintain the product backlog according to priorities Participate in and drive agile activities such as sprint planning and demos Collaborate regularly with other developers, designers, and product owners Additional roles: Apply your development skills within the team and support knowledge sharing Collaborate closely with team members and engage in pair programming Contribute to decisions on code structure and working methods Stay informed about emerging trends and share knowledge Ideal candidate profile: Eight+ years of front-end development experience Four+ years of experience managing a team backlog Good understanding of working with distributed product environments (npm/vite/rollup/node) and GitHub actions/CI Ability to manage your time and others effectively Comfortable communicating with and assisting developers from various teams, and giving demos/presentations Experience making architectural decisions in front-end or full-stack development Experience working within international or European companies About SKF SKF has been around for over a century and is one of the worlds largest suppliers of bearings and supporting solutions for rotating equipment.
