Senior Sales Executive, Water Service and Plumbing -Testing Services

Job Title
This role is 100% remote. Significant travel to customer locations required. Preference given to candidates residing in the Southeast US. Lead the sales strategy and track ongoing plans to prioritize a portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year. Engage closely with customers to promote and sell Water Systems and Plumbing certification services. Use high-level technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence. Independently drive the sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Sales Support Specialists and Inside Sales Executives when necessary. Proactively manage customers to ensure renewal of services where applicable. Continuously explore and develop opportunities to sell Water Systems and Plumbing certification services. Establish strong connections with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify their needs, understand decision-makers, and land new customers. Lead the efforts in discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing for sales of core UL products and services. Leverage technical support (engineers) when customers have a qualified need. Create a pipeline of new logo prospects to supplement existing account activities, own the new logo process through close of sale. Bring in additional resources when advantageous to support the sales process, and delegate leadership of the sale to Technical Inside Sales Executives in the business group. Transition implementation to success/fulfillment teams after sales have been closed to ensure seamless service delivery. Where applicable, work closely with account managers in the development of multi-year account plans in TIC by providing insight into Water Systems and Plumbing. Act on opportunities to sell Water Systems and Plumbing testing and certification services. Able to guide and give directions to remaining account managers on discovery and opportunity identification for Water Systems and Plumbing testing and certification services. Work independently with the account managers to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle. Provide expert input to leadership during the account planning process on potential growth opportunities within the assigned solution area. Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in engineering or related field preferred. 6+ years of related sales experience. Deep knowledge and experience with specialty product services within the Water Systems and Plumbing space. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software. What We Offer: Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual compensation for this position is $139,500 - $170,500, which includes a base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 55% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental, and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days), and sick time off (72 hours).
