Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager
( Multi-family ) supports the successful execution of ground-up commercial and/or light industrial projects. The
Assistant Project Manager
oversees project engineering with a focus on customer communication, setting clear directions, and high expectations. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase Coordinate all aspects of the ground-up construction project, including preconstruction collaboration Assist with monthly project financial forecasts, owner billings, and risk mitigation Review and negotiate owner contracts, subcontracts, and proposals Forecast staffing needs for self-perform work Develop and maintain CPM schedules and lead construction operations to meet deadlines Ensure health and safety standards and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) Evaluate progress and prepare executive reports for company and owner groups Assist with permitting processes as needed Lead constructability reviews and documentation Assist with contract administration, onsite observations, and drawing compliance monitoring Support project close-out processes Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction science/management or engineering preferred 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction project management or engineering Strong leadership, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and management principles Proficiency in construction scheduling and project management software Interested candidates should send their resume to
