Job Summary: RTX Corporation Raytheon is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a US DoD Top-Secret clearance to work as part of a collaborative team to support our classified networks at our El Segundo facility in California (Relocation Eligible). What You Will Do: Configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco network hardware and software, such as switches, routers, ASAs, Next Generation IPS (Firepower) Ensure Information Assurance compliance for network hardware and software and mitigating identified vulnerabilities. Remediate IAVAM and DISA STIGS Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST, etc.) Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate is organized, able to work well with others, able to work under time constraints, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team and have good problem-solving skills. The candidate's work will be performed under general direction. The candidate will frequently interact with inter-organizational contacts representing the Digital Technology organization in the support of Raytheon Strategic Business Unit program area engineering end-user community. The ideal candidate also must be a US citizen holding at a minimum a Top-Secret clearance. Qualifications You Must Have: Role typically requires bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience, an advanced degree, and 3 years' experience or 9 years of direct experience in lieu of degree. An active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experienced in LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware. Qualifications We Strongly Prefer: Must have background with LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware. Experience with Type-1 HAIPE Encryptors, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN, etc.) Knowledge of firewall, access control lists, and IP address management Experience with IDS/IPS, host-based security and integrating firewall appliances, including DMZ design and ACL implementation. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. Experience with 802.1X and Radius authentication software-based configurations. Strong written and verbal communication skills Security+ and CCNA certifications. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience implementing IDS/IPS, host-based security and integrating firewall appliances, including DMZ design and ACL implementation Experience with SolarWinds, Visio, SNMP-based network management Experience with TACACS/Radius authentication software-based configuration Experience with vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies Experience with ACAS, SCAP, NESSUS Experience with Palo Alto firewalls CCNP highly desired TS/SCI clearance desired Special Access Program clearances What We Offer: Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
