Business Analyst Position Description: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in serving as the operational and reporting backbone for our supply chain organization. This individual will work at the intersection of marketing, finance, technology and operations to support data-driven decision-making, research, and ad hoc analysis. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves with deep research but also thrives in cross-functional environments where process, communication, and structure matter. The ideal candidate will have progressive work experience working with datasets, a strong understanding of reporting tools, and a track record of successful project management. They will need to assist in conducting frontline market research to ensure Proponents is well position within the market. They will be adept at creating clear and concise reporting solutions, be a fastidious note taker, task-oriented and able to compile information into concise communications for team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting & Data Analysis Deliver accurate, insightful reports to the Proponents team in response to ad hoc business questions Build, maintain, and improve dashboards that surface key KPIs and performance trends Create Excel-based models for financial and operational analysis (pricing, market analysis, etc.) Write SQL queries to extract data directly from our centralized Azure SQL data warehouse Systems & Workflow Optimization Identify gaps in reporting, process bottlenecks, and manual tasks that can be streamlined or automated Partner with internal software and data teams to build tools and improve data visibility across teams Support adoption of standardized reporting and documentation processes Create standard operating procedures for functions across the organization Project Management and Documentation The BA will work to create properly documented requirements for projects to gain stakeholder approval. Manage tasks and track progress against schedule and budget. Provide input on design, configuration, and implementation, ensuring that business requirements are met, and solutions deliver value and address key business challenges. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field 2+ years of experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Technology or a related field is a plus Experience generating datasets from research and querying data via Excel and SQL Skills and Competencies Strong written communication and meeting facilitation skills Team-player, who can work closely across many departments with a willingness to take on new tasks Meticulously organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Problem-solver who enjoys building better systems and workflows Excellent time management with proactive approach to tackling tasks Open to new ideas and approaches, with a strong drive to learn and optimize existing workflows Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills required NOTE:
