Job DescriptionJob Description Join a Legacy of Excellence – Build the Future with HB McClure
At HB McClure, we’re more than a century-strong, employee-owned company known for delivering top-tier commercial mechanical services. We believe in investing in our people—because when our team thrives, so do our customers and communities.
The
Start Up & Warranty Technician
is a specialized role for technicians with a strong
service background , particularly those experienced in
electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and post-installation support . This position plays a key role in
commissioning new commercial HVAC systems , verifying performance, identifying installation or controls issues, and resolving early-stage warranty concerns.
Candidates should bring a service-first mindset — capable of working independently to troubleshoot system malfunctions, communicate effectively with clients and project teams, and ensure HVAC systems are fully functional and optimized upon turnover.
This is not a ductwork or sheet metal installation position . It is best suited for technicians who have experience in
field service, equipment startups, or troubleshooting on commercial HVAC systems , and who enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and resolving issues in real-world environments.
