Position Overview:
The
Scheduler I
will be responsible for the coordination and execution of daily scheduling activities and resource planning for a designated business unit. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient work assignment and communication between field operations and supporting teams.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement daily work plans for the assigned business unit. Organize and dispatch work assignments to appropriate personnel. Conduct planning and scheduling meetings. Monitor workflow and make real-time adjustments using various systems and tools. Create and submit service orders, requests, and scheduling modifications as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors, field operations, and support groups to ensure alignment and resolve scheduling issues. Support emergent and urgent work requests according to business unit procedures, including escalation and volume management. Analyze data trends to optimize scheduling efficiency and resource allocation. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred). 1+ year of scheduling or planning experience (utility or production scheduling preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
