Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of
Scheduler
for a
12 Month + Contract
opportunity.
DUTIES:
Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc. Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups. Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders, and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications. Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc. Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action. Performs other related duties as required. Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work effectively in urgent situations Communication skills Skilled in organization and time management Ability to think and work independently Technical skills to utilize various systems Business or related Associate Degree - Required
