Personal Trust Officer
for a Chartered Trust Company in a
Full Time, Hybrid position
in
Wilmington, Delaware .
Responsibilities for the Personal Trust Officer
Responsible for all aspects of trust administration, including quality checking of new account setup, annual reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
Review of all accounts to ensure proper categorization of cash (principal and income), cost basis, tax reporting, and all other aspects of each trust.
Interact with Financial Advisors and clients in defining goals and objectives, working along with the Investment Officer to establish the appropriate asset allocation and review and approve portfolio changes involving more complex situations or assets.
Qualifications for the Personal Trust Officer
5-7 years of personal trust administration experience. CTFA preferred.
Efficiency and flexibility in performing detailed transactional tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
Attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
Understanding of various investments and strategies.
Ability to interpret policies and recommend changes.
Work independently, make non-routine decisions, and escalate complex problems.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Active involvement in professional organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
Compensation
$80K-$130K
Bonus eligibility
Hybrid work schedule
