Highly successful co-packer / private labeler seeks an Operations Manager to join the team and participate in our growth. Vital part of the management team, working on supply chain, engineering, R & D, QC, and production processes. Prior Food Manufacturing experience is a must This position oversees operational activities at every level and plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes. The Operations Manager inspires leadership within the organization and maintains high quality standards for products, as well as ensuring productivity and efficiency. This role requires extensive knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management, ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective manner. The manager will work on improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices, helping the organization remain legally compliant and meet customer standards. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field 10 years of food manufacturing experience Wastewater management experience ERP systems knowledge (Redzone or NetSuite is helpful) Up-to-date knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, CODEX, and local guidelines Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, data analysis, planning, and organizational skills Practical knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow regulation, maintaining balance sheets, and monitoring profit and loss statements Benefits
