This role involves working with our local and national teams to expand our ports and maritime business, strengthening client relationships with port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, and shipyards, and contributing to our project execution capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Deliver a variety of heavy civil projects including port utilities, roadway infrastructure, and stormwater management, while seeking innovative solutions to improve service and expand your skills. Manage projects with diverse services, supported by a large team of engineers, scientists, technologists, and communication professionals. Lead teams through complex designs and schedules, mentoring staff and ensuring quality work. Collaborate with design and construction teams to implement innovative project solutions. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, translating technical concepts clearly. Use lessons learned to inform project decisions, balancing schedule and budget considerations. Lead teams with a focus on accountability, organization, and attention to detail. Identify and develop business opportunities in collaboration with management and marketing teams. Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry organizations. Serve as the senior civil engineer on waterfront projects, coordinating activities across disciplines. Assist in managing project resources and sub-consultants. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, with 7+ years of civil engineering experience; EPC project experience preferred. Alternatively, a master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in civil technology with similar experience. Knowledge of civil engineering design standards and proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and project management tools. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel as needed. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Additional Information
