Mortgage Loan Processo r to join their dynamic team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $23/hr Position Overview: The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan applications from start to finish. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of mortgage lending guidelines. The Mortgage Loan Processor will work closely with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and customers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all loan documentation. Responsibilities of the Mortgage Loan Processor:
Review and verify mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Communicate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary information and documentation.
Order and review appraisals, credit reports, title reports, and other third-party documentation.
Ensure all loan documentation complies with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Prepare and submit loan files for underwriting approval.
Track and monitor loan progress, providing regular updates to all parties involved.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the loan processing stage.
Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on changes in mortgage lending guidelines and industry best practices.
Required Experience/Skills for the Mortgage Loan Processor:
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related role.
Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
