Sr Business Intelligence Developer
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions that drive business process automation and efficiency, using a best-of-breed suite of tools. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365/Power Platform, creating complex custom applications, workflows and integrations with Power Apps and Power Automate. This role will administer, configure, and develop enterprise automations and integrations for a variety of business units throughout the Children's Health organization. Responsibilities: Design and develop custom applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline business processes. Analyze existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement automated solutions using Microsoft 365/Power Platform to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including business owners, project managers, user-experience designers, and data analysts to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions align with business objectives. Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Power Platform applications and SharePoint Lists to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Ensure automated solutions adhere to organizational governance policies, data security and privacy protocols, and compliance regulations. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, including process flows, data models, user guides and end-user training. Maintain technical debt adherence by performing solution updates and annual upgrades as needed, and review platform usage to identify opportunities for standardization and governance. Communicate complex technical processes clearly and professionally across disciplines. Facilitate stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops to gather requirements and assess current-state processes. Lead technical design sessions to define user experience, data definition, process configuration and integration for intelligent automation solutions. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Power Platform applications. Excellent analytical and communication skills, including ability to work effectively with business users and cross-functional technical teams. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, creating and interpreting data, validating data and ensuring quality controls are in place. How You'll Be Successful: Work Experience: At least 5 years working experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), SharePoint Online and other low-code development tools to build custom enterprise-wide applications, workflows and automations required At least 5 years working experience with system implementations, basic understanding of key concepts related to Software Development Life Cycle, Information Security and Digital Transformation adoption - required At least 5 years working experience in platform/business analysis roles required At least 2 years healthcare industry or healthcare consulting experience required Strong collaboration skills and executive presence, excellent verbal and written communication skills required Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems like ServiceNow preferred Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI preferred Experience with AI workplace tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder) preferred Education: Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - required Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience - preferred A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
