Project Engineer / Project Manager at roofing contractor

Job DescriptionAbout the Role:A public works contractor specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal services is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer/Project Manager. Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B, is available for qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage laborers on job sites daily.Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure project success.Interpret and understand construction plans, specifications, and related documents.Define project scope and allocate necessary resources.Prepare and manage preconstruction documents.Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance plans.Plan and supervise daily on-site activities.Communicate project details effectively with foremen and serve as the main point of contact.RequirementsQualifications:Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, Viewpoint Team, Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-off, and Quick Bid is a plus.Prior experience in project coordination is preferred.Experience with a roofing contractorAdditional Information:The role requires 75% travel.Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus but not required.BenefitsBenefits:Comprehensive Medical InsuranceRetirement PlanSubsistence AllowancePaid Time OffProfessional Training and Growth Opportunities
